Lab Chemist

Job Description: As a Laboratory Chemist, you will be an essential part of our environmental testing and analysis laboratory. Your primary responsibility will involve conducting a variety of chemical analyses and tests to evaluate the quality of water, soil, and air. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques. Your duties will encompass performing a range of laboratory tests and analyses, including but not limited to water quality analysis (such as pH, conductivity, dissolved solids), soil analysis (including nutrients and contaminants), and air quality analysis (covering particulate matter, gases, etc.). You will be tasked with the operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring their proper functioning for accurate test results. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the preparation and standardization of reagents and solutions, as well as the precise collection and recording of data. Your role will also involve the critical analysis and interpretation of laboratory results, leading to the preparation of detailed laboratory reports. Upholding laboratory safety procedures and regulations will be paramount in your day-to-day activities. In addition to your core responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the advancement and enhancement of laboratory methods and procedures, thereby playing a role in the continuous improvement of our operations. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field. - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including Provident Fund. The work schedule is during day shifts with weekend availability, and additional bonuses may be provided based on performance. A preferred educational background includes a Bachelor's degree, and prior experience of at least 1 year is preferred for this role. The work location is in person.,
