Job Description

Sri Edu Foundation is looking for a dedicated and responsible Lab Attender to support both laboratory and administrative functions at our Jayanagar campus. The role involves maintaining and managing laboratory equipment, assisting during practical sessions, and ensuring a safe and clean lab environment. In addition, the Lab Attender will handle administrative responsibilities such as managing documentation related to the PU Board and students, coordinating official communications, and travelling locally for submission and collection of documents. This position requires a dependable individual who can balance both lab duties and administrative tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain laboratory equipment, glassware, and materials in proper condition.
• Ensure the lab is clean, safe, and well-organized.
• Assist teachers and students during practical sessions and set up experiments.
• Handle chemicals and consumables safely, keeping accurate inventory records.
• Manage student and PU Board documentation, including sending, receiving, and filing records.
• Travel locally for official document-related work.
• Provide general administrative assistance as required by the institute.
• Report maintenance issues and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum: Any Education Preferred
• Prior experience in a lab/educational institution is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory safety practices.
• Good organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to use basic computer applications (MS Office, email).
• Willingness to travel locally for official tasks.
