Position: Lab Assistant / QC (Quality Control)
Location: Gandhidham, Gujarat
Experience: 2–6 Years in QC / Laboratory testing (steel / heavy industry preferred)
Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry) OR Diploma / B.E. (Chemical / Metallurgy)
Salary: As per industry standards
Employment Type: Full-time

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct sampling, testing, and analysis of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished steel products.
• Perform chemical, physical, and spectroscopic tests (spectrometer, UTM, hardness, XRF, etc.).
• Ensure quality control across all process stages in compliance with ISO / BIS standards.
• Maintain QC documentation, calibration records, and lab reports.
• Support process engineers in improving quality parameters.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality deviations.
• Follow all safety, environment, and lab compliance norms.

Requirements:

• Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry) OR Diploma / B.E. (Chemical / Metallurgy).
• 2–6 years of hands-on experience in QC / Lab testing in steel / metallurgical / heavy process industry.
• Knowledge of analytical techniques, metallurgical testing, and process chemistry.
• Familiarity with spectrometer, UTM, hardness testers, and other lab instruments.
• Good documentation, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Willingness to work in shift operations.
