Display and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) visibly. Ensure functional supply of gas, water, and electricity. Attend training related to instrument maintenance. Properly label all chemical containers. 5. Laboratory Documentation Maintain issue, stock, and breakage records of lab materials. Update dead stock and maintenance logs for equipment. Keep cleaning records and maintenance/breakdown logs. Maintain SOP files and logbooks for instruments. Keep updated indent books for chemical/labware issuance. Verify and audit lab stock regularly. Maintain documentation of laboratory communications and audits. Ensure accurate and up-to-date safety audit files. Handle any additional lab-related documentation as required. 6. Laboratory Safety Monitor functionality of gas pipelines, fire extinguishers, fume cupboards, and utility supplies. Guide students on safe handling of hazardous chemicals.
