Job Description

As a Rubber Testing Technician, your role involves performing various tests on rubber and related materials according to ASTM, ISO, or BIS standards. Your key responsibilities include: - Performing rubber testing such as hardness, tensile strength, elongation, compression set, specific gravity, aging, tear strength, etc. - Conducting chemical analysis of rubber and related materials including ash content, moisture, volatile matter, carbon black content, polymer identification, filler content, etc. - Preparing and maintaining test records, reports, and calibration data in compliance with laboratory standards. - Operating and maintaining laboratory instruments like UTM, Mooney viscometer, MDR, ODR, Rheometer, Density tester, Shore hardness tester, FTIR, TGA, TG. - Supporting compound development and validation through accurate and timely test results. - Ensuring adherence to standard testing procedures (STPs) and safety guidelines. - Coordinating with production, quality, and R&D teams for root cause analysis and material validation. - Assisting in the development of new testing methods and maintaining laboratory efficiency. Please note, this is a full-time position that requires in-person work at the specified location.,
