Description

We are looking for an experienced L3 Production Support Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-level support for production systems, ensuring their reliability and performance, and collaborating with various teams to resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

Provide L3 production support for applications and systems in a 24/7 environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues escalated from L1 and L2 support teams.
Collaborate with development teams to deploy and manage production releases.
Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.
Create and maintain documentation related to system architecture, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Engage in root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent future incidents.
Participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

6-10 years of experience in production support or related field.
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
Proficiency in SQL and database management (e.g., Oracle, MySQL).
Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Perl.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Splunk, Grafana).
Understanding of application servers (e.g., Tomcat, WebLogic) and web technologies.
Experience with incident management and ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
