As a Level 3 ACI Cisco Consulting Engineer specializing in Onsite Operations Support, your role involves managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Your main responsibilities include: - Installing, configuring, and supporting Cisco Routers and Switches. - Providing expert-level support for Cisco ACI infrastructure, encompassing troubleshooting, configuration, and optimization. - Proactively monitoring and maintaining ACI environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability. - Updating Network equipment to the latest firmware releases. - Replacing faulting network hardware components when required. - Reporting network status to key stakeholders. Your qualifications for this role include: - Basic understanding of ACI is a prerequisite for Level 2 positions. - Good knowledge of ACI is required for Level 3 roles. - Strong knowledge in Routing and Switching technologies such as BGP, OSPF, VPC, Multicast, RSTP, MSTP, NAT, PBR, and FHRP. - Familiarity with WAN technologies like MPLS, IPSEC, GRE, VPN, and DMVPN. - Significant practical experience in troubleshooting connectivity issues across firewall/Load Balancer or proxy. - Excellent communication and coordination skills within the technology community. - Proficiency in problem analysis and solving by applying creativity, innovation, and a thinking-out-of-the-box approach when dealing with challenges. - Ability to work under high pressure in a challenging environment. Additional details: - Good to have knowledge in Cisco SDWAN solution (Viptela). - Routing expertise in BGP, OSPF, and Static protocols. - Understanding of how MPLS works. - Working-level comprehension of IPSEC, GRE, and GETVPN. - In-depth exposure to the Cisco Nexus 9K family from installation, commissioning, to configuration is mandatory. - Switching skills in VPC, FHRP, STP, and LACP can enhance your profile.
