As a dynamic and experienced professional, you have the opportunity to lead the OSS Operations team at Rakuten Symphony. Your role will involve leveraging your deep operations experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) to drive process improvements, automation of support activities, and project management. You will play a crucial part in ensuring operational excellence, reliability, and automation across the OSS platforms supporting next-generation telecom networks. Your responsibilities will include leading and managing the end-to-end OSS operations and customer support team, focusing on high availability, performance, and SLA adherence. You will drive efficiencies in L1/L2/L3 support, process improvements, and automation strategies. Collaboration with engineering and product teams to guide the evolution of OSS platforms towards cloud-native architectures will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, as the Site Lead for Indore for the OSS unit, you will be responsible for fostering a transformational culture that motivates and engages the workforce while driving continuous performance improvement. Your experience in leading large teams, strong knowledge of ITSM/ITOM, and expertise in ITIL practices will be instrumental in driving success in this role. To excel in this position, you should possess over 15 years of experience in OSS operations within the telecom or large-scale IT environments. Your background in leading large teams, coupled with a robust understanding of ITSM/ITOM and Analytics, will be invaluable. Experience with global companies in leadership roles, exposure to multi-cultural work environments, and proficiency in microservices-based architecture and container platforms will set you up for success. Moreover, your familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Ansible, Jenkins, and Git, as well as certifications in Kubernetes, ITIL v4, or relevant cloud-native tools, will be advantageous. Exposure to AI/ML-based predictive operations and AIOps tools will further enhance your qualifications for this role at Rakuten Symphony.
