As a Fund Accounting Senior Lead at Redesign Health, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the complex accounting processes for various US investment funds. Your responsibilities will include managing fund accounting entries, preparing Net Asset Value (NAV) packages, reconciling bank and trial balances, and supporting investor relations. Additionally, you will lead the adoption of AI use cases within the fund administration functions, contributing to the continuous growth and scalability of new International funds. Reporting to the Controller, you will collaborate closely with the Redesign Health Strategy & Finance and Legal teams to drive operational excellence. Your key responsibilities will involve developing and executing end-to-end fund accounting processes, overseeing capital call and distribution processes, managing fund investor relations and reporting, facilitating the annual audit process, and supporting tax compliance and reporting obligations. You will work out of the Bengaluru office location and must be available to work hours that overlap with Eastern Standard Time. To excel in this role, you should hold a CA or CPA license with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. With 6+ years of experience in fund accounting and administration, preferably in professional services, private equity, venture capital, or hedge funds, you should possess a strong understanding of US partnership accounting and complex fund structures. Your experience in core fund processes, external audits, and relationship management with fund administrators, legal counsel, and auditors will be valuable assets in this role. As a successful candidate, you will demonstrate proficiency in fund accounting software, investor relations platforms, and cap table equity administration software. Your familiarity with KYC/AML procedures, partnership tax reporting, and AI tools will be advantageous. Furthermore, your action-oriented approach, sense of accountability, ability to manage complexity, and track record of leveraging technology for productivity and innovation will set you apart. Compliance: - Maintain knowledge of card network rules and regulations. - Assist with internal and external audits related to risk and compliance. Reporting and Analysis: - Generate regular reports on chargeback rates, fraud trends, and risk metrics. - Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions. - Provide insights to management on risk-related issues. Requirements: - Strong understanding of chargeback workflows, card network rules, and dispute resolution. - Experience with fraud detection tools and risk assessment methodologies. - Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. - Strong communication skills to coordinate with banks, customers, and internal teams. - Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple cases simultaneously. - Experience with specific fraud prevention tools and platforms. - Experience with KYC/AML procedures.
