Body Shop Billing Staff Location: KASARAGOD Job Summary: The Body Shop Billing Staff is responsible for preparing and processing accurate invoices for all repair orders, managing insurance claims, tracking payments, and maintaining financial records using Tally and other relevant systems. This position ensures that all billing and documentation are completed in a timely and professional manner to support the smooth operation of the body shop. Key Responsibilities: Review repair orders for accuracy in labor, parts, paint, and sublet charges. Generate customer and insurance invoices in accordance with company policies. Use Tally software to input financial data, generate reports, manage ledgers, and track receivables/payables. Submit insurance claims and handle supplements using estimating platforms (CCC One, Audatex, or similar). Reconcile payments from insurance companies and customers; post them in Tally and internal systems. Collaborate with estimators and technicians to ensure billing reflects actual work performed. Maintain organized records of invoices, estimates, approvals, and related documents. Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve any billing discrepancies.
