Ltd. is seeking a Cost Estimating Engineer with mandatory experience in steel furniture manufacturing . The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing production expenses, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and recommending cost-effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of steel furniture production processes. Key Responsibilities: Cost Estimation: Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates during the design and development phases. Analyze proposals, specifications, and design documents to determine cost-effective solutions. Utilize cost management tools and software for precise estimations. Process Evaluation: Evaluate manufacturing processes, tooling expenses, and material costs. Recommend improvements for cost reduction and operational efficiency. Track and compare actual production costs with budget estimates. Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor cost performance and generate regular reports for management. Provide accurate cost impact assessments during product changes. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure budget alignment. Vendor Management: Review supplier quotations and ensure alignment with target cost estimates. Support supplier negotiations to achieve competitive pricing. Provide data-backed insights for vendor selection and pricing decisions. Collaboration and Support: Liaise with design, production, and procurement teams to optimize costs. Provide cost-related recommendations during management reviews. Proactively contribute to cost monitoring and process improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications and Skills: Mandatory experience in steel furniture manufacturing (2-5yrs). Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, or related field). Strong knowledge of cost estimation methodologies and cost management tools. Proficiency in MS Excel and cost modeling software. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Understanding of steel furniture production processes, materials, and assembly techniques. Experience in vendor negotiation and supplier cost analysis. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Job Designation (Position in Company) DesignerReporting to (Designation of employee reporting to) Role in the company (What is expected from you) • Qualification required interior designer -Degree holder or Diploma. • Modular kitchen designing experience -at least 2-4 years. • Work with clients in gathering complete requirements for the project. • Should have experience with- AutoCAD, quote preparation in excel, measurements, PPT, client presentation. • Build a Design Docket with a detailed BOM along with suitable Quotation. • Finalize the proposal & commercials with client and set out a project schedule. • Should be good at budget planning and cost management • Developing detailed designs, using computer-aided design softwares & tools. • Timely follow up with clients on payment schedules & project deliverables. • Be the one-point contact to oversee the project to completion along with the client / Project Manager / External partners • Should be able to define project schedule for entire project life cycle from design to execution, Expertise in modular furniture, space planning, colour, materials. • Create all the required 2D drawings and details necessary to execute an interior project successfully. • Work closely with site supervisors & contractors to execute projects. • Contribute towards overall business.
