Role: The individual will be responsible for enhancing internal controls and processes, overseeing system implementation, managing the team accounting for transportation expenses, and conducting data analytics to support decision-making. Responsibilities : · Internal Control & Process Improvement: Ø Strengthen internal controls and processes to ensure that there is no financial impact. Ø Document SOP's having financial impact and manage master data. · Software Implementation: Ø Lead the implementation of software (CFS Mag, Fleet Mag, YMS, etc.) and automation of manual processes. · Cost Optimization: Ø Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in operating/admin expenses. Ø Prevent revenue leakages through reconciliations and enabling controls. · Data Analytics & Profitability: Ø Perform data analytics for route wise, customer wise and trip-wise profitability analysis. Ø Use tools for telematics to improve profitability and performance of vehicles. Ø Analyze vehicle performance, vehicle composition, diesel consumption, and repairs & maintenance. · Expense Booking & Control: Ø Supervise accurate transport expense bookings and pending invoices. Ø Support in month end closure activities and ensure provisions are submitted by the 5th of each month. Ø Guide Gate Accounts team on driver advances, diesel payments, trip expenses etc. · Audit & Compliance: Ø Address internal audit observations and ensure compliance with GST, accounting standards, and audits. Ø Support timely resolution of audit queries. Knowledge, Abilities, Skills & Competencies: · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Proficiency in data visualization and ERP systems. · Attention to detail with a proactive approach to process improvement. · Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
