As part of American Express's commitment to enhancing privacy compliance, EDMP is establishing a global Privacy Center of Excellence (GPCE). In this context, the Senior Manager, Privacy Metrics & Reporting will play a key role within the newly formed Privacy Center of Excellence. Your responsibilities will include defining and implementing metrics to measure the operational effectiveness of privacy processes and controls at American Express. You will also monitor operational risk events related to privacy themes, coordinate across business units and markets to establish common reporting guidelines, report on aggregate results for the enterprise, and identify opportunities to enhance privacy through the analysis of operational risk events. Primary Responsibilities: - Collaborate with partners in the Global Privacy Center of Excellence to support a metrics program that measures adherence to policies, standards, procedures, and controls - Work with the Global Privacy Office and key business partners to define how to measure the operational effectiveness of privacy at American Express - Contribute to reporting norms and best practices across business units while gathering metrics that align with those norms - Utilize the privacy metrics framework to identify risks and inform solutions and prioritization within the Global Privacy COE - Collaborate with control management and the Global Privacy Office to inventory and evaluate operational risk events, identifying opportunities for privacy enhancements Qualifications: - 8+ years of experience in implementing metrics and reporting programs - Proficiency in defining and implementing tracking for KPIs, KRIs, and other metrics - Advanced skills in PowerPoint for presentations, SQL for data manipulation, Excel for data analysis, and Tableau or Power BI for reporting and visualization - Strong organization, initiative, accountability, and resilience - Excellent communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders and drive collaboration - Ability to manage multiple demands in a matrixed organization - Stay updated on privacy-related regulations and reporting requirements - Independently manage projects and collaborate with stakeholders to develop solutions - Ability to lead a team, streamline processes, and promote work/life balance - Problem-solving skills and a positive attitude American Express provides benefits that support your overall well-being, including competitive salaries, bonus incentives, financial well-being support, medical benefits, flexible working arrangements, generous parental leave policies, access to wellness centers, counseling support, and career development opportunities.,
