Position: QA Engineer Organization Name: KPOINT Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Experience: 1–2 years of experience in manual and automation testing Location of posting: Pune Job Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-focused QA Engineer to join our team. You will play a vital role in our Agile development process, working on various components of our video intelligence platform. You will be responsible for ensuring our products meet the highest standards by creating test cases, performing a mix of manual and automated testing, and meticulously documenting bugs to help us deliver a flawless user experience. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing features. Perform thorough manual testing, including functional, regression, and usability testing across various platform components. Identify, document, and track defects with precision in our bug tracking system, Zoho. Collaborate closely with developers and product managers in an Agile environment to ensure quality is built into every stage. Contribute to our existing test automation framework by writing and maintaining scripts to increase test coverage. Analyze manual test cases to identify key candidates for automation and progressively migrate them to the automated suite. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives), providing a consistent quality-focused perspective. Requirements Required Skills and Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in a software testing role. Strong understanding of QA methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience creating clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Hands-on experience with both manual and automated test execution. Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium and scripting in Java or Python. Proficiency in bug tracking and reporting using tools like Zoho/Jira.. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with an ability to identify edge cases. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Skill: Experience with API testing tools like Postman. Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation. Familiarity with Agile development processes. Comfort working in a Linux command-line environment. Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Relevant Industry Software and IT Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering
