Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manual Test Engineer with strong experience in Functional and Database Testing to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in manual testing methodologies and a good understanding of database testing concepts. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through comprehensive test planning, execution, and reporting. Roles and Responsibilities: Understand and analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and system design documents. Design and execute manual test cases for web, desktop, or mobile applications based on functional requirements. Perform functional testing, integration testing, system testing, and regression testing. Conduct Database Testing including data validation, data verification, and writing basic SQL queries to verify backend functionality. Identify, document, and track defects using test/project management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables. Participate in review meetings and contribute to continuous process improvement. Report and communicate test results, defect status, and risks to the project team. Ensure adherence to testing standards and QA best practices. Required Skills: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing. Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
