The ideal candidate for this position should possess a total of 10+ to 12 years of experience, with 6-8 years specifically in Server and Infrastructure Management. Additionally, they should have a minimum of 7-8 years of Operations Experience in a 24x7 high-availability Linux Production environment, with hands-on experience in Linux and high availability solutions. A strong understanding of UNIX/Linux Operating Systems such as Red Hat, SuSe, Ubuntu, and other flavors of Linux is required. Knowledge of file systems like EXT2,3, GFS, NFS, XFS, UNIX kernel administration, and tuning is necessary. The candidate should also have strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with scripting languages like Bash/Korn. Any technical certification in the Database domain or Red-Hat Certification would be advantageous. The candidate must have experience in core domains with mandatory hard skills, including High Availability (HA), Load Balancing (LB), and the observability stack. They should have exposure to automating essential administrative tasks, as well as experience with Disaster Recovery (DR) drills or audits.
