Position Title: Design Faculty – Visual Arts & Design Thinking Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled, creative, and passionate Design Faculty member with expertise in Visual Arts education and Design Thinking in the following areas: (You can take one or more areas) Teach young children about Visual Art and Design Thinking Design Entrance Exam coaching for institutions such as NID, NIFT, UCEED, CEED, NATA , and similar institutions. The ideal candidate will also mentor students on portfolio development for admissions into top national and international design schools. Key Responsibilities: Any One of the following. Advantage if you can handle more than one of the following Visual Arts Curriculum Deliver engaging and structured lessons for the Children for Young Designer Course Guide students through Comparative Study, Process Portfolio, and Exhibition. Encourage inquiry-based and thematic art practices in diverse media. Support students with individual mentoring, critique sessions, and documentation. Design Entrance Coaching Train students for entrance tests like NID (DAT), NIFT, UCEED, CEED, NATA, and other national design exams. Teach core modules such as: Design fundamentals Observation and visualization Analytical and creative thinking Color theory, perspective drawing, storyboarding, etc. Aptitude and general knowledge (related to design & culture) Conduct mock tests, live drawing sessions, and time-bound design challenges. Portfolio Preparation & Guidance Mentor students in building strong portfolios for: NID Studio Test UCEED/NIFT Interviews International Art/Design school admissions Guide on content creation, layout, themes, digital presentation, and statement of purpose (SOP). Provide individualized critique and improvement feedback. Administrative & Academic Duties Track student progress and maintain assessment records. Support in designing curriculum content, lesson plans, and study material. Coordinate with academic coordinators, parents, and admissions team. Assist in Organizing exhibitions for their students Key Skills & Competencies: In-depth knowledge of art and design principles Expertise in studio-based and digital art practices Knowledge of current design entrance exam formats and requirements Strong mentoring and communication skills Creativity, patience, and adaptability Strong portfolio presentation and critique abilities Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design / Visual Arts / Fine Arts / Applied Arts or equivalent from a reputed institution or have experience in handling One or more of these areas. Experience: Minimum 1 – 2 years of teaching experience in Design Teaching Proven track record in coaching students for design entrance exams. Experience in portfolio mentoring for national/international design colleges.
