Art Teacher

As an Art Teacher, you will play a crucial role in nurturing the artistic talents of students across varying age groups and skill levels. Your primary responsibility will be to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging art lessons that encompass a wide range of artistic techniques such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art. By creating a positive learning environment, you will inspire students to explore their creativity and develop their unique artistic style. In addition to teaching art, you will also be involved in creating study materials and video lessons as part of the curriculum. Your expertise in art history, theory, and practical skills will be pivotal in designing lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Providing constructive feedback and individual support to students will be essential in helping them enhance their artistic abilities. As an Art Teacher, you will organize classroom displays and exhibitions to showcase student artwork, fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment among the students. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment will contribute to an optimal learning experience. By monitoring and assessing students" progress, you will keep accurate records of their achievements and tailor your teaching approach accordingly. Staying updated on new art trends, tools, and teaching methodologies will be crucial in enhancing the quality of your lessons. Collaboration with other teachers and staff to integrate art into interdisciplinary projects or school-wide events will enrich the overall learning experience for students. This position offers opportunities for full-time, part-time, or freelance engagement, with an expected workload of 48 hours per week. The work location is in-person, and the expected start date is 14/10/2024. If you have at least 1 year of relevant work experience, it will be considered a plus for this role.
