Job Description:

Thisposition will be responsible for New part development, Supplier evaluation andselection, vendor development, Drive critical projects related to cost savings,quality improvement of the group parts and ensure export and project partavailability as per priorities
PrepareSource Plan for Sourcing Strategy & supplier/part level actions whereever required,
Newpart development as per priority & reduce time to market, First time rightapproach.
Supplier/ Part Spend review & Analysis, Identify projects for cost optimization.
Trackcommodity price movement and initiate actions for price management.
Supplierperformance Index improvement actions with category supplier
SupplierRisk assessment and initiate proactive actions
EnsureAudit Compliance,
Carryout Supplier Benchmarking and strive improvement within supply base
Adherenceto Monthly cost saving plans, Idea generation for cost optimizations projects
Monitorcommodity price movement and initiate actions for price revisions,
Toolingcost optimization , monitor capex & revenue tooling expenses
Conductfeasibility review with supplier for NPD Parts, NPD project completion on time,Work closely in cross functional teams to complete CCPM project on time.
Normfinalization with supplier ,Negotiation with suppliers, Price finalization withzero base costing approach ,Initiate Pre-quotes, and complete Cost reductionprojects,
Newcomponent development & ramp up , Procurement of initial lots, Address andresolve Capacity Issue (BPR),
Ensuretimely Implementation of change management & inventory management of changeparts,
Instrumentalin Process /Quality Improvement activities at supplier end
NewSupplier identification and evaluation & supplier development, SupplierVisits for review,
CustomerComplaint resolution (Supplier related issues),
Ideageneration & Drive cost reduction projects till actual implementation
SupplierSLA Agreement, Implement actions related to out Sourcing @ supplier end & Hand over part to Procurement team for regular procurement once development is completed
