As an individual contributor at Adobe, you will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise in data science engineering to drive growth and optimize customer experiences through personalization. The Customer Analytics & GTM team is dedicated to utilizing data to deliver exceptional experiences, and this role plays a crucial part in driving data engineering for large-scale initiatives across various strategic projects. In this role, you will be responsible for building fault-tolerant, scalable data pipelines using cloud-based tools, developing analytical capabilities using cutting-edge technologies, and optimizing data pipelines through innovative solutions. You will work on end-to-end data pipelines to run machine learning models in a production platform and contribute to data engineering and data science frameworks, tools, and processes. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, along with 5-8 years of proven experience as a data engineer. You should have expertise in distributed data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Presto, and Spark, as well as experience with cloud-based technologies such as Databricks, S3, Azure Blob Storage, and AWS EMR. Proficiency in streaming data ingestion and transformation using Kafka, Kinesis, and outstanding SQL skills are essential for this role. Additionally, hands-on experience in Python/PySpark/Scala, familiarity with CI/CD tools and open-source orchestration tools, and excellent communication skills for collaboration with data scientists and machine learning engineers are required. Knowledge of Elastic Stack, Graph Databases, and ML algorithms & frameworks is highly desirable. If you are passionate about contributing to the open-source community, have experience with data governance tools, collaboration tools, or Adobe tools, it would be considered a plus.
