Role Purpose The Supply Chain Manager will manage the end‑to‑end flow of goods from company's nominated manufacturers and supplier network to Knoxx Foods in Australia or directly to nominated customer sites. The role covers to ensure timely production, quality compliance, logistics coordination, supplier performance improvement and new supplier due diligence. The position involves travelling within India and overseas. Reporting to the Head of Global Operations, the candidate works closely with Demand Planning, Quality Assurance and Finance. Key Responsibilities Supplier Production Management: Convert demand forecasts into executable production schedules; monitor production, capacity, materials and labour; resolve constraints to protect ship dates. New Supplier Assessment & Qualification: Lead commercial, technical and ethical evaluations of prospective suppliers; conduct onsite audits; align new partners with Knoxx quality, compliance and Australian standards. Quality & Compliance: Oversee in‑process and pre‑shipment inspections against agreed food safety parameters; release or hold product based on results. Logistics & Carrier Coordination: Secure ocean space with Tier‑1 shipping lines; manage documentation and container load plans; track shipments into Australia or to nominated customer hubs; escalate delays proactively, submission of correct documents and ensure smooth clearing. Performance & Cost Management: Maintain supplier scorecards (OTIF, lead time, defect rate); drive continuous improvement; negotiate cost efficiencies in freight, packaging and conversion. Risk Management: Monitor market, crop and port conditions; recommend mitigation actions; communicate risks to senior management in a timely manner. Key Performance Indicators Supplier Production Management: Convert demand forecasts into production schedules; monitor capacity, materials and packaging availability; resolve issues to protect ship dates. Quality & Compliance: Oversee in‑process and pre‑shipment inspections against agreed standards, release or hold product as warranted. Logistics & Carrier Coordination: Secure ocean space with primary shipping lines; confirm bookings, documentation and container load plans; track transshipment milestones and escalate delays. Performance & Cost Management: Maintain supplier scorecards (lead time, defect rate); identify improvement projects; negotiate cost reductions in freight, packaging and conversion. Risk Management Monitor market, crop and port conditions; recommend hedging or alternate routings; provide timely updates to senior management. Demonstrated success improving supplier lead times and service levels across multi‑site operations. Established working relationships with Tier‑1 shipping lines. Technical Skills Proficiency in advanced Excel/Power BI. Practical knowledge of AQL sampling and HACCP requirements. Education & Certification Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Supply Chain or Business. MBA or APICS/CSCP certification is advantageous. Language Fluency in English; Hindi preferred. Personal Attributes Strong analytical and negotiating skills. Ability to influence across cultures and organisational levels. Willingness to travel at short notice and work across time zones. The Role (What you will do) We’re growing our remote-first operation and need a Fractional IT Manager (remote). This person will manage our IT infrastructure, onboarding/offboarding, MDM, policies, and support across ~14 employees distributed across Sydney, India, and the Philippines. You’ll be backed by on-the-ground support in Sydney for hardware/network tasks—you’ll manage everything else remotely. Time Commitment & Availability Estimated Workload: 10–15 hours per month Responsibilities Device Management (MDM) - Configure and maintain MDM for ChromeOS, macOS, Windows, and mobile devices (e.g., using Google Workspace Endpoint Management or JumpCloud). - Enforce policies like screen lock, encryption, 2FA, and Google Drive sync. - Provide compliance monitoring and monthly reporting. - Maintain asset inventory tracking. Onboarding & Offboarding - Provision devices and set up Google Workspace accounts for new staff. - Create and manage onboarding/offboarding checklists. - Securely deactivate accounts and wipe devices for departing staff. Remote Helpdesk & Support - On-call support during AU business hours (password resets, sync issues, app troubleshooting). - Troubleshoot across ChromeOS, macOS, Windows, and mobile devices. Procurement Coordination - Advise on device and peripheral purchases. - Handle logistics for remote pre-configuration and shipping. Security & Compliance Monitoring - Monitor Google Workspace security dashboard and respond to alerts. - Maintain a monthly IT security hygiene checklist. - Document IT processes and procedures.
