This job is based in Australia. The Faculty of Engineering is currently seeking a Research Associate to join their team. As a Research Associate, you will be responsible for conducting independent and collaborative research in the field of Cognitive Robotics, Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, and Neuro-Symbolic Artificial Intelligence. This role provides an opportunity for you to enhance your expertise and contribute to scholarly research activities both nationally and internationally. You are a highly skilled and motivated Senior Content Taxonomy Analyst who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ontologies and taxonomies that drive the content strategy and underpin the content management platform. Your role is crucial in ensuring that information is organized, accessible, and effectively utilized across the organization. As a Senior Content Taxonomy Analyst, you will collaborate with subject matter experts to gather requirements, define scope, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of knowledge models. You will apply semantic web standards and technologies such as RDF, OWL, and SKOS to build robust and scalable ontologies. You will develop and implement a comprehensive content taxonomy strategy that aligns with business goals and user needs.
