Role & responsibilities Industry / product / market updates Support research and innovation Subscription of various databases and provide necessary training to user group. Curation of in-house databases Collate regular updates in the field of research, technology and regulatory area and suggest recommendations to the Business Unit. Classification, Cataloguing and Circulation Preferred candidate profile Qualifications : Post-graduation, MLISc (Masters in Library & Information Science) or M.Sc in science stream with minimum of 60% marks and a consistently good academic record. Work Experience : 0-3 years of experience Skills : Content/Report writing Prior art search / Literature search and compilation Preparation of competitive mapping Understanding of Knowledge Management/content management tools such as SharePoint, Drupal, DSpace, E-prints, KOHA and Greenstone. Understanding of LIBSYS automation tool Cloud environment. Webpage designing using various tools such as HTML/XML, CSS, Python and Java Library management Classification, Cataloguing and Circulation Good computer skills include programming languages, data analysis tools and project management applications. Strong analytical and technical abilities Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple deadlines Knowledge : Competitive mapping Report writing Patents & Prior art search Digital library & library automation Various online databases and search algorithms / modules Knowledge Management tools Understanding on cloud platforms/environment Standards & Specifications BIS, ASTM, ISO, BS, GSO etc Publishers & content licensing Institutional memberships Library network
