Key Responsibilities: Direct Tax Compliance & Reporting: Preparation and filing of ETR(Effective Tax Rate) workings and supporting documentation. Preparation and review of Advance Tax workings and timely payments. Filing of TDS & TCS returns, including monthly/quarterly compliance and correction statements. Income Tax Return (ITR) filing for domestic and overseas entities data preparation, EY coordination, and backup support. Preparation and review of Deferred Tax calculations for book closure and tax provisioning. 26AS reconciliation for vendor/customer transactions and year-end tax compliance. Support in Tax Audit data collation, form preparation (3CD), and coordination with auditors. Preparation of GL reconciliations and finalization of tax-related balances. Transfer Pricing & International Taxation: Assistance in Transfer Pricing compliance data preparation for Form 3CEB and TP reports in coordination with EY. Filing of Master File and Country-by-Country (CbC) Reporting as per global reporting requirements. Management of ITR & TP compliance for 4 overseas entities, including coordination with local consultants and internal teams. Litigation & Assessments: Handling litigations, assessments, appeals, and preparation of responses to notices from the income tax department. Liaison with external consultants, internal legal/compliance teams, and government authorities. Audit Support: Preparation of statutory audit schedules, tax audit schedules, and other required supporting documents. Coordination with auditors (internal/external) for timely closure of audits with zero non-compliance. Automation & Process Improvement: Drive automation initiatives in tax processes including TDS, reconciliation, reporting, and return filing. Assist in implementing technology solutions for improved compliance and efficiency. Indirect Tax (Secondary Responsibility): Hands-on experience in indirect tax return filings (GST/Customs), reconciliations, and related compliance will be an added advantage. Desired Candidate Profile : Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5-8 years of post-qualification experience in Direct Taxation. Strong working knowledge of Income Tax Act, TDS, Transfer Pricing, and International Tax regulations. Exposure to SAP/Oracle and tax tools is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools. Excellent communication and coordination skills for dealing with consultants, auditors, and internal stakeholders. Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
