IT Administrator Job Position - (Immediate Joiner Only with 3- 6 years of experience) One of our major clients, an innovative international shipping company, is seeking an IT Administrator (System/Network) to join their team in Hyderabad (Kukatpally) Role Overview: This full-time on-site role is critical in managing and supporting the organization's IT infrastructure, including system and network operations. The IT Administrator will ensure optimal functionality of IT systems and networks, deliver technical support, and maintain high standards of security to support business operations.The candidate must be able to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and be available for 24/7 support when required, including support for US-based and remote users. Key Responsibilities: System Administration: Administer and maintain Windows, Linux, or macOS systems (servers, workstations, and end-user devices). Install, configure, and update hardware and software systems for seamless operation. Monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and apply updates, patches, and backups to ensure security and stability. Network Administration: Manage and configure LAN, Wi-Fi (routers, switches, firewalls), VPN infrastructure, and IP PBX/VOIP telephone systems. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues across wired and wireless platforms. Implement and enforce network security protocols to protect against internal and external threats. Security Management: Maintain and update firewalls, antivirus software, and other security tools. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. Respond to and mitigate security incidents and cyber threats. Technical Support: Provide IT support to internal users, resolving hardware and software issues. Assist with the onboarding and training of staff on new IT systems and tools. Document network configurations, system setups, and troubleshooting procedures. Collaboration & Project Support: Work collaboratively with cross-functional IT teams to deliver projects on time. Support IT projects including system upgrades, cloud migrations, and new technology implementations. Additional Skills. Proven experience as an IT Administrator, System Administrator, or Network Administrator. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux/Unix, or macOS operating systems. In-depth understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls). Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud is a plus. Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions. Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of graphic design using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator is a plus. Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Cloud Applications and SaaS-based applications. Hands-on experience managing IP PBX and VOIP telephone systems. Knowledge of maintaining AV and meeting room systems is a plus. Additional Responsibilities: Manage cloud services, including Office 365 (Outlook) and Azure Active Directory. Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and operation of servers and virtualized environments. Provide 24/5 IT help desk support and communicate with internal IT teams. Maintain IT operations, including operating systems, security tools (Antivirus), cloud applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, printers, and software. Manage software licenses, including Microsoft 365, Adobe, and other company tools. Ensure the proper operation of CCTV, biometric fingerprint systems, and other office systems. Manage Document Management, Asset Management, and Vendor Communication. Skills & Qualifications: 3-6 years of experience in IT system administration, network management, and technical support. Strong communication skills in English Immediate availability or ability to join on short notice is preferred. Diploma/Degree in Information Systems or a related field. Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), Microsoft 365, or similar.
