Key ResponsibilitiesFront Office Operations: Greet and assist patients, attendants, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Handle patient registration, appointment scheduling, and inquiries through phone and in-person. Coordinate admission and discharge processes with respective departments. Maintain confidentiality of patient records and ensure accurate data entry. Guide patients regarding hospital facilities, services, and procedures. Billing & Accounts: Generate, review, and finalize patient bills (IP/OP) accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure correct entry of charges, services, and discounts as per hospital guidelines. Handle cash collections, credit card payments, UPI transactions, and maintain proper receipts. Coordinate with insurance desk / TPA for cashless billing and pre-authorization. Prepare daily cash and billing reports and submit to accounts department. Administrative Support: Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments for smooth patient services. Assist in resolving patient queries related to billing and front-office processes. Maintain front-office decorum and ensure professional appearance. Support hospital management in implementing standard operating procedures. Skills Required: Excellent communication & interpersonal skills (English, Tamil as applicable). Knowledge of hospital billing software / HIS (Hospital Information System). Strong numerical ability and attention to detail. Good customer service and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Work Conditions Shift-based duty (morning/evening/night as per hospital policy). Interaction with patients, attendants, doctors, and multiple departments. Requires high patience, accuracy, and customer service orientation. JOB DESCRIPTION: Duties may include, but are not limited to the following: F To develop relationships with patients and their family members to provide maximum personalized patient service. F To review customer feedback data and take appropriate preventive and corrective action in the areas assigned as per the job description. F To make suggestions for improvements in overall operations with an emphasis on increasing patient satisfaction. F To display a high degree of professionalism and integrity as befitting a member of management. F Must ensure that all personnel are kept well informed of department objectives and policies. F The ability to ensure that a proper image is being maintained by all Team Members with respect to grooming and uniform standards. F To ensure that qualified personnel are selected, recruited and trained in all areas of responsibility. F To support OneHealth Hospital philosophy towards employee development, to ensure the effectiveness and promotion of this philosophy within the department. F To support and participate in programs, related to orientation of new employees. F Manage all administrative duties as specified by the Hospital.
