· Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking.
· Follow the guidelines provided by the chef or kitchen supervisor.
· Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
· Stock and restock food supplies and ingredients as needed.
· Dispose of kitchen waste and garbage in a hygienic and eco-friendly manner.
· Follow food safety guidelines and best practices to prevent food contamination.
· Maintain personal hygiene and wear the required kitchen attire, including gloves, hairnets, and aprons.
· Assist with the cleaning and sanitization of kitchen surfaces and equipment.
· Keep track of inventory levels for kitchen supplies and inform the supervisor when items need to be replenished.
· Communicate effectively with colleagues to maintain a smooth kitchen operation.
· Adhere to the policies and procedures of the establishment, including those related to safety, health, and cleanliness.
· Report any incidents or issues to the kitchen supervisor or manager.
· Ensuring that food is presented neatly and in a timely manner.
· Carrying and serving trays of food and drinks.
· Understanding dietary restrictions and accommodating special requests.
