You will be responsible for overseeing the complete end-to-end cafeteria operations, ensuring smooth functioning and efficiency on site. Your role will involve supporting the Reporting Manager by providing daily updates and addressing any issues that may arise during operations. It will be crucial for you to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and coordinate effectively with vendor staff and on-site personnel. Adherence to agreed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and guidelines will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will need to follow Critical Environment processes and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies related to cafeteria operations. Your support will be essential during internal and external audits by providing relevant documents as required. You will also be in charge of managing all Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) schedules and shutdowns in consultation with Clients and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Regular inspection of logbooks, checklists, and Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) schedules will be necessary for efficient management of cafeteria operations. Your focus will be on achieving zero downtime and implementing practices to deliver seamless service to Clients. This will involve tasks such as quality inspection of raw materials and vegetables, cross-checking of deployed manpower, monitoring food production planning, and ensuring food quantity and quality standards are met. Other responsibilities will include overseeing transportation to other locations, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, dining hall, hand wash area, tea counter/vending machine, and ensuring proper functioning and maintenance of kitchen equipment. You will also need to follow up with AMC vendors, monitor pest control activities, validate food coupons and visitor arrangements, as well as oversee cleaning and hygiene of crockery, cutlery, and kitchen utensils. Proper segregation and disposal of food wastage, as well as shift handover and takeover of canteen staff, will also fall under your purview. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will be essential in ensuring the efficient and effective operations of the cafeteria while upholding high standards of service and compliance with all relevant guidelines and procedures.,
