Job Description: Waiter/Steward – School Canteen Position Overview: We are looking for dedicated and efficient Waiters/Stewards to join our school canteen team. The role involves managing the tea service, assisting at the sale counter, and ensuring the smooth preparation and serving of food and beverages. Key Responsibilities: Tea Service: Prepare and serve tea and other beverages to staff and students as per schedule. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at the tea service station. Sale Counter Management: Assist in managing the canteen sale counter, handling food and beverage orders efficiently. Maintain accurate cash handling and support billing operations. Ensure prompt and polite service to students and staff. Preparation Assistance: Assist in basic food and beverage preparation tasks as required. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the preparation and serving areas. General Duties: Follow hygiene and safety standards at all times. Ensure tables, counters, and utensils are clean and ready for service. Support the team during peak hours and ensure smooth operations. Skills and Requirements: Previous experience in food service/canteen operations preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to hygiene, cleanliness, and quality service. Work Hours: Standard working hours will be 10 in normal days.
