Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic supplier relationship manager to manage procurement activities for critical commodities in our rolling stock division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization, preferably within the Indian railway ecosystem. Role & responsibilities: Take ownership of negotiating commercial and legal terms with clients, vendors, or partners to ensure favorable outcomes aligned with company objectives. Provide guidance or oversight to junior staff involved in contract preparation or administration during the temporary assignment. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance using KPIs (cost, quality, delivery, compliance) and implement improvement plans where necessary. Lead efforts to manage changes in Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) arising from project scope changes, design updates, or internal process revisions. Review and process changes to PRs and POs ensuring alignment with approved budgets, contracts, and procurement policies. Serve as the primary point of contact for key suppliers, fostering transparent and effective communication to build strong, long-term relationships. Identify opportunities for supplier capability improvements and support initiatives to increase efficiency, innovation, and cost-effectiveness. Must make good and efficient collaboration between KINET & SOTECH. Proactively analyze all phases of the ongoing project to identify cost-saving opportunities in materials, logistics, manpower, design, and procurement. Conduct cost reviews at each stage of the project (design, procurement, construction, commissioning) to flag inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Balance cost reduction efforts with risk management to ensure changes do not negatively impact safety, compliance, or long-term value. Develop and execute sourcing strategies to onboard secondary and tertiary suppliers for critical goods and services, reducing dependency on single suppliers. Identify, pre-qualify, and evaluate new potential suppliers based on capability, quality, capacity, compliance, and cost competitiveness. Maintain updated records of supplier qualification processes and provide regular updates on onboarding progress and dual-source readiness Qualifications: Bachelors degree in mechanical / electrical / industrial engineering, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA is a plus. Minimum 6+ years of relevant procurement / sourcing experience in the railway industry, preferably with rolling stock manufacturers (OEMs), component suppliers, or railway operators in India. In-depth understanding of railway systems, specifications, and regulatory environment in India (RDSO, IR, Metro Rail, etc.). Proven negotiation and contract management skills. Strong knowledge of supply chain risk management, cost drivers, and procurement best practices. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools. Prior experience working with Indian Railways, metro rail projects, rolling stock component manufacturer or global rolling stock manufacturers & Automobiles. Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, cost competitiveness, and timely delivery. Customer Quality Lead latur 10 - 16 years INR 15.0 - 22.5 Lacs P.A. Work from Office Full Time

Role & responsibilities Lead and manage all customer quality-related activities, ensuring adherence to company standards and customer expectations. Ensure delivery of trains with the right quality; halt deliveries and escalate to top management if safety or compliance issues remain unresolved. Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan (QMP) in alignment with Kinet standards and customer requirements. Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address any concerns or quality-related issues. Drive efficiency and continuous improvement within the quality team through enhanced analysis methods and reporting practices. Act as the primary liaison with customers for quality concerns, ensuring clear, effective, and timely communication. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure all customer requirements are consistently met. Lead the resolution of customer complaints in coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure strict adherence to final inspection procedures and quality protocols at the site. Train, mentor, and guide the customer quality team, fostering a culture of quality and collaboration. Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's degree with 14+ yrs/ Diploma with 18+ yrs of experience, preferably from Mechanical or Electrical disciplines. At least 8 years of direct involvement in Customer Quality activities of the rolling stock or rolling stock components sector. Strong knowledge of quality management standards, particularly ISO 22163 (IRIS). A strong Customer Service Focus is required. Strong reporting skills and clear communication.
