Kidney Transplant Coordinator

Paras Hospital is hiring Transplant Coordinator for Gurgaon location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all activities related to the

  Kidney Transplant Program

  in compliance with hospital policy and statutory regulations (THOTA).
• Serve as the

  primary liaison

  among patients, donors, clinicians, and external authorities (SOTTO/NOTTO).
• Counsel patients and families regarding

  transplant procedures, risks, benefits, and legal requirements.

• Facilitate donor and recipient

  screening, evaluation, and documentation

  for both living and cadaveric transplants.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of

  government forms, donor-recipient approvals, and committee documentation.

• Coordinate with nephrologists, urologists, anesthetists, and the nursing team for

  scheduling and smooth execution

  of transplant surgeries.
• Maintain

  updated databases and transplant records

  as per audit and reporting requirements.
• Liaise with labs and diagnostic teams for donor/recipient investigations.
  
• Ensure compliance with all

  ethical and legal guidelines

  governing organ transplantation.
• Provide emotional and psychosocial support to donors and recipients throughout the transplant journey.
  
• Participate in

  awareness programs and organ donation drives

  to promote public education.
• Prepare and present

  monthly MIS reports

  to the Transplant Committee and Hospital Management.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Qualification:

  MSW / MHA / Life Sciences (Certified Transplant Coordinator preferred).

• Experience:

  26 years in a hospital transplant coordination role (preferably Kidney Transplant).
• Strong knowledge of

  Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Act (THOTA)

  procedures.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
  
• Compassionate and empathetic approach in dealing with patients and families.
  
• Proficiency in

  MS Office and Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
