We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Information Designer to transform complex ideas, data, and messages into clear, engaging, and visually compelling formats. You will work closely with content strategists, researchers, designers, and stakeholders to create infographics, data visualizations, reports, dashboards, and presentation materials that effectively communicate information to diverse audiences. Key Responsibilities Analyse complex data sets, narratives, or processes to identify the most effective visual communication formats. Design clear, accurate, and visually engaging outputs infographics, interactive dashboards, explainer visuals, editorial graphics, timelines, and process diagrams. Collaborate with subject matter experts to deeply understand content and identify core messages. Use visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and color to communicate meaning, support storytelling, and enhance usability. Work across tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Tableau, Power BI, and others depending on project needs. Support internal teams with data storytelling needs for presentations, social media, reports, or product design. Ensure all outputs are brand-compliant and accessible, adhering to design system or style guidelines. Adapt visualizations for different platforms like print, web, mobile, or presentation decks. Stay current with trends in data visualization, UX, and design thinking. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Design, Communication, Data Visualization, UX, Journalism, or a related field. 2–5 years of professional experience in visual communication or information design. Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to simplify complex ideas through visual formats. Proficiency in design and visualization tools: Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator), Figma, Excel, and at least one data tool (Tableau, Power BI, Flourish, D3.js, etc.). Understanding of data literacy, accessibility, and visual storytelling principles. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Bonus: Experience in motion graphics, GIS mapping, or interactive media.
