Job description: Designation : Staff Nurse Department: Nursing Reports To: Nurse Manager / Head Nurse Location: Ganapathy , Coimbatore Job Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Monitor patients’ conditions and report changes to physicians and healthcare team. Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as prescribed. Document nursing care, observations, and interventions accurately in patient records. Provide pre- and post-operative care and assist with procedures. Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care. Ensure infection control and safety practices are followed at all times. Respond effectively to emergencies and code situations. Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare staff for coordinated patient care. Supervise junior nursing staff, aides, or students as assigned. Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients. Qualifications: Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing or GNM). License: Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state/national license. Experience: [0–2+ years] of clinical experience preferred (varies depending on the setting).
