Job Title: Staff Nurse – Home Care Experience : 0 to 5 Years Qualification : ANM / DGNM/ BSc (N) Job Summary: The Staff Nurse in Homecare is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes. This includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients. The role requires strong clinical judgment, compassion, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments of patients in their home environment. Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and family members. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety and proper documentation. Monitor patients’ conditions and promptly report changes to physicians or case managers. Provide wound care, catheter care, IV therapy, and other nursing procedures as needed. Educate patients and caregivers on disease processes, medications, and self-care techniques. Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and reports. Ensure infection control and safety standards are maintained at all times. Collaborate with other health professionals (physicians, therapists, social workers) to optimize patient care. Support patients and families emotionally, offering guidance and assistance with accessing community resources when needed. Working Conditions: Home visits in a variety of residential settings.
