🏗️ Role: Computational Designer (Architecture + AI/ML) Responsibilities: Develop computational workflows that generate site-specific master plan options from basic inputs such as property boundaries and planning rules. Translate zoning codes, sustainability principles, and Vastu guideline into generative design logic. Produce multiple design alternatives that balance feasibility, compliance, and design intent. Build interactive 3D or parametric visualizations that clients can explore in-browser. Collaborate closely with the AI/LLM engineer and full-stack developer to ensure smooth integration of rules, data, and geometry. Explore AI/ML-driven generative design methods that go beyond rules to learn and optimize layouts. 🧩 What We’re Looking For Background : Training in architecture, computational design, or urban design. Bonus if you’ve combined design with programming in past work. Core Skills : Ability to turn design rules and constraints into computational systems. Strong generative design thinking and geometric problem-solving. Experience creating interactive or parametric models that others can use and understand. Mindset : You’re comfortable with ambiguity and can prototype quickly. You care about both design quality and technical execution. You’re curious about how AI/ML can expand the possibilities of computational design. 🎯 Who You Are Not a traditional architect who only works in CAD. Not a pure programmer with no design sensibility. You live in the middle ground , combining creativity, logic, and computation. You want to shape how AI and computational design can transform real estate and city-building. ⚡ Why Join Us? Be part of a groundbreaking project at the frontier of AI x Architecture x Urban Tech . Immediate impact: what you create will shape the first prototype shown to clients . Opportunity to grow into a core team role if there’s a strong fit. Flexible: freelance/project-based initially, with long-term potential. 📌 Next Steps Share a short introduction about your background. Send examples of computational design work (portfolio, code samples, or demos). Shortlisted candidates will complete a test task : creating multiple site layout options from a property boundary input. 👉 If you’re passionate about architecture, computation, and AI , and want to shape the future of sustainable design and city-building , we’d love to talk to you. ⚠️ Note : This role is NOT for traditional architects who only deliver drawings, and NOT for engineers who only write code. We are specifically looking for those who combine computational design + coding mindset + curiosity about AI.
