You will be responsible for designing and implementing databases, as well as data modeling. This includes creating indexes, views, complex triggers, stored procedures, efficient functions, and appropriate store procedures to facilitate effective data manipulation and data consistency. You should have a good understanding of keys, constraints, indexes, joins, CTEs, partitioning, Row Number() and Windows functions, temporary tables, UDTs, types of union, and materialized views. Utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you will be required to work on database normalization and de-normalization, and have expertise in writing complex logic. Troubleshooting, optimizing, and tuning SQL processes and queries will be part of your responsibilities, as well as writing unit test cases. Understanding database transactions and states, and designing, implementing, and monitoring queries and stored procedures for performance optimization are key tasks. Additionally, you should be able to debug programs, integrate applications with third-party web services, and identify opportunities for improved performance in SQL operations. Knowledge of database backup, restore, and maintenance procedures, along with experience in working with development, testing, UAT, and production environments and their databases is essential. Skills in working with SSRS and SSIS are required, and experience in SSAS will be considered a plus. Good communication skills are also important for this role.,
