The Computer Peripherals Purchase Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the procurement process of computer peripherals and accessories to meet the organization's needs efficiently. You will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing a variety of peripherals while ensuring timely delivery, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to budget and quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include identifying required peripherals, coordinating with the IT department to confirm compatibility, requesting and comparing vendor quotations, preparing purchase orders, managing supplier relationships, monitoring deliveries, verifying received items, maintaining inventory records, supporting vendor negotiations, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. To excel in this role, you should possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT peripherals procurement, IT sales, or purchasing is preferred, although freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of common computer peripherals, connectivity standards, and compatibility requirements.
