About Us Keshav Industries is launching a new line of affordable, safe, and sustainable mineral water bottles in Punjab and surrounding regions. We are committed to building a trusted brand in hydration by combining engineering precision, consumer-centric design, and eco-conscious practices. We are looking for a creative and technically strong Design Engineer who can lead the design and development of PET bottle variants and caps for our mineral water brand. This is a chance to work on product development from concept to manufacturingimpacting the everyday lives of thousands of consumers. Key Responsibilities Product Design & Development : Design PET bottles, caps, and closures in multiple variants (250ml, 500ml, 1L, etc.) using SolidWorks and other CAD tools. Engineering Precision : Create accurate 2D/3D models, technical drawings, and manufacturing-ready specifications. Simulation & Testing : Run simulations for stress, load, drop test, and material behavior to validate bottle designs. Prototype Development : Work closely with vendors and mold manufacturers to develop prototypes and production molds. Branding Integration : Incorporate ergonomics, aesthetics, and brand identity into the bottle and cap design. Sustainability : Explore lightweighting, recyclable materials, and eco-friendly design practices for PET packaging. Cross-functional Collaboration : Work with operations, manufacturing, and marketing teams to ensure designs are functional, scalable, and aligned with brand strategy. Required Skills & Experience Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory). Experience in plastic product design , preferably PET bottles and caps. Understanding of blow molding and injection molding processes . Ability to run finite element analysis (FEA) and simulate stress/strain performance. Strong grasp of engineering design principles, tolerances, and manufacturing constraints . Experience in packaging industry, consumer goods, or FMCG is highly preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to balance aesthetic, functional, and cost considerations . Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, or Packaging Technology . Certifications in CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo, etc.) are a plus. What We Offer Opportunity to build the design DNA of a new consumer brand from the ground up.
