1) Lead the design and development of new products and product improvements from concepts. 2) Create detailed design plans, drawings, and specifications for product components. 3) Utilize CAD software and technical drawings. 4) Work closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective. 5) Oversee the creation of prototypes, conduct testing, and refine designs based on feedback and testing results. 6) Collaborate with the R&D team to implement new technologies and innovation into designs. 7) Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements. 8) Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and design staff.
