About Keepme Keepme is a fast-growing SaaS platform for the fitness & wellness industry. We help gyms and studios grow using automation, data, and AI. We’re deep in some exciting technical work: upgrading our core app to Laravel 12, rolling out multi-region AWS infrastructure, and expanding our AI-powered sales agent suite. The Role We’re looking for an Engineering Manager who thrives on planning, delivery, and continuous improvement — and who’s excited about using AI to make engineering smarter and faster . You’ll lead multiple concurrent projects, manage a talented distributed team, and shape how we build. You’ll have a hand in everything from project execution to engineering standards, and you’ll play a key role in how we apply AI across development and delivery. What You’ll Do Own the planning and delivery of key initiatives — Laravel upgrade, infra rollout, customer integrations, and AI modules. Break down complex projects into clear, achievable milestones with strong dependency tracking. Lead and coach a distributed team (Laravel, Node/React, DevOps); drive accountability, clarity, and growth. Set and uphold engineering quality standards — testing, CI/CD, and release discipline. Champion an AI-first approach : identify, test, and roll out modern AI tools to improve code quality, documentation, sprint reporting, and overall velocity. Partner with Product, DevOps, and Customer Success to align priorities and ensure smooth execution. Report directly to the Director of Product, providing transparency on progress, risks, and resource needs. What You’ll Bring 6+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years in an engineering leadership role. Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-moving SaaS environment. Strong background in PHP/Laravel ; comfort with Node/React and cloud infrastructure (AWS, containers, CI/CD). A natural leader who builds trust, drives clarity, and empowers engineers. Passion for AI-driven development — from GitHub Copilot and Codeium to AI-based QA, planning, and observability tools. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
