As a Power BI Visualization Engineer, you will be a valuable member of our analytics team, contributing your expertise in designing and building interactive Power BI dashboards and reports. Your primary responsibility will be to translate complex datasets into visually appealing insights that aid in business decision-making. Your proficiency in Power BI, coupled with secondary skills in Power Platform, Python, data modeling, and ETL processes, will be instrumental in creating impactful data visualization solutions. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and deploying interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to meet specific business requirements. You will collaborate with various teams to gather requirements, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure that the data structures within Power BI are optimized. Writing and managing complex DAX formulas, creating relationships between data sources, and supporting ETL processes will also be crucial aspects of your role. Furthermore, you will leverage Power Platform tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate to enhance dashboard interactivity and automate workflows. Collaborating with Data Engineering to support large data volumes, using Python for data wrangling and custom logic embedding, and ensuring data quality, governance, and security compliance across all reporting solutions will be essential components of your work. To excel in this role, you must have proven experience in Power BI dashboard and data model development, a strong command of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX, as well as proficiency in data modeling concepts and creating relationships between data sources. Additionally, familiarity with Power Platform tools, ETL development using Power Query, SSIS, or Python, and hands-on experience with SQL and databases like SQL Server or PostgreSQL are required. Preferred qualifications include experience with Azure Data Services, machine learning integration into Power BI, knowledge of pipeline orchestration tools like the KEDRO framework, exposure to AI-driven analytics and predictive modeling, and relevant Microsoft certifications.
