Job Designation Project Coordinator – Interior & Civil Job Description We are seeking a Project Coordinator with knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Interior Work, Civil Work, and MEP Services . The role involves coordinating drawings, site execution, vendor management, and ensuring smooth delivery of interior and civil projects. Job Role: Sr. Civil Engineer – Project Department Location: Korba Department: Projects Reporting To: Project Manager / RCM Experience: 2–7 Years (Road, Building & Foundation Works) 1. Role Overview The Civil Engineer will be responsible for supervising day-to-day project execution activities related to Road Work, Building Work, Foundations, and General Civil Activities . The role demands strong technical understanding, site management ability, proficiency in AutoCAD, accurate billing skills, and effective liaisoning with clients, consultants, and internal teams. 2. Key Responsibilities A. Site Execution & Technical Supervision Execute and monitor road works, earthwork, GSB/WMM/PQC, drainage, culverts, kerb stones and all related activities. Supervise building construction , foundation works, structural work, concrete works, block/brickwork, plastering, finishing, etc. Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, CPWD/DSR norms , and quality standards. Prepare and check bar bending schedules (BBS) and reinforcement arrangements. Coordinate with subcontractors, manpower, and ensure planned progress as per BOQ and drawings. B. Planning, Measurements & Billing Take accurate site measurements and prepare running bills (RA Bills) . Prepare client bills, subcontractor bills, extra item sheets, deviation statements , and supporting documentation. Maintain DPR, WPR, and work progress charts. Reconciliation of materials – steel, cement, shuttering, aggregates, etc. Support in rate analysis and costing for the site. C. AutoCAD & Documentation Prepare/modify AutoCAD drawings , site layouts, sections, details, and as-built drawings. Review issued drawings and highlight discrepancies. Prepare technical reports, site logs, checklists, inspection reports. Maintain documentation for audits, QA/QC requirements, and project handover. D. Liaisoning & Coordination Coordinate with client engineers (EIC), PMC, consultants, vendors, and internal teams. Attend site meetings and communicate site requirements clearly and confidently. Ensure smooth liaisoning for work approvals, joint measurements, billing clearances , and technical clarifications. Assist in resolving site-level disputes, delays, and bottlenecks. E. Quality, Safety & Compliance Ensure all works follow company standards, QA/QC processes, and IS codes. Monitor safety compliance for workers and enforce safety protocols. Ensure materials are inspected, tested, and approved before use. 3. Skills & Competencies Required Strong technical knowledge of Road Works, Building Construction, and Foundations . Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to read/interpret drawings. Good knowledge of BOQ, DSR, rate analysis, billing & measurement . Good communication and liaisoning skills with client & vendors. Ability to manage manpower and subcontractors. Problem-solving attitude and ability to handle site challenges. Familiarity with MS Office, Excel, Project Planning tools is an advantage. 4. Qualification Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering Minimum 2–7 years of relevant site execution experience.
