This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring optimal process design, regulatory compliance, and seamless coordination across internal and external stakeholders for greenfield and brownfield pharmaceutical facility projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end process design for OSD (Oral Solid Dosage), Injectable, Vaccine, or Biotech facilities. Develop and review P&ID , Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) , Mass Balance, Equipment Sizing, and Critical Design Parameters. Prepare and evaluate User Requirement Specifications (URS) , and oversee Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) , Site Acceptance Test (SAT) protocols, and Validation Documentation (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ). Ensure alignment with GMP , WHO , USFDA , EU , and other applicable regulatory guidelines. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as R&D, Quality Assurance, HVAC, Utility, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Automation . Provide process input and technical leadership during project execution, commissioning , and regulatory audits . Engage in client meetings, technical presentations, and troubleshooting during project lifecycle. Regularly travel for international projects , site visits, audits, and technical review meetings. Candidate Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech). 8 to 12 years of experience in process design and execution of pharmaceutical plant projects. In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements: GMP , WHO , USFDA , EU , etc. Demonstrated leadership in managing multi-disciplinary teams and external consultants/vendors. Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines. Valid passport is mandatory. Prior international exposure is highly desirable.
