Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelors degree in Dance Education or Performing Arts (Masters degree preferred), 2-3 years of teaching experience, proficiency in multiple dance styles, strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to inspire students, organizational skills, and a valid teaching certification. You should also have the physical ability to demonstrate dance movements. Key Responsibilities: Teach Kathak dance techniques, theory, and history to students across various age groups. Qualifications: Bachelor's / Master's degree in Performing Arts (Dance) or equivalent from a recognized institution. Formal training in Kathak (preferably under a recognized Guru or institution). Minimum 25 years of teaching experience, preferably in a school environment. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Desirable: Experience in choreographing group and solo performances. Ability to teach basic fusion or semi-classical for variety. Certification from recognized dance boards like Gandharva Mahavidyalaya or Prayag Sangeet Samiti (preferred). Passionate about working with children and nurturing their talents.
