The APM Tools Engineer role within the Strategic Accounts team focuses on implementing, managing, and supporting clients" Application Performance Monitoring (APM) practice using Splunk Observability tools. Responsibilities include configuring APM agents, developing Synthetics scripts, creating alerting policies, and generating dashboards and reports for the Operations and Application Support teams. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement Synthetics monitors, maintain existing monitors, and support application releases. - Customize Splunk APM agents configurations based on application requirements. - Create effective alerting policies and collaborate with support teams. - Provide Synthetics expertise, lead incident management, and implement health checks. - Design and support Synthetics Private Locations for optimal utilization. - Perform Splunk Observability administration tasks and develop dashboards and reports. Required Skills: - Minimum four years of program development experience in Java, JavaScript, SOAP, REST services, and Selenium / Katalon WebDrivers. - Bachelor's degree in Science, Computers, or Engineering preferred. Preferred Skills: - Advanced skills in Java / JavaScript programming and SOAP / REST services. - Proficiency in Synthetics monitoring using tools like Splunk Observability, New Relic, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics. - Knowledge of common platforms like Linux and Windows. - Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. - Self-disciplined, motivated, and ownership-driven. - Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for learning new technologies quickly.,
