Our team provides compassionate care, medical support, and counseling in a safe and healing environment. Position Summary: We are looking for a qualified and compassionate General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Nurse, approved by the Nursing Council of India (NCI), to join our team. The nurse will be responsible for providing day-to-day medical care, administering medications, monitoring withdrawal symptoms, and supporting overall well-being of residents at the shelter home. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and assess the health status of residents regularly. Administer prescribed medications and monitor their effects. Provide basic wound care, hygiene, and nursing care. Manage medical emergencies and coordinate with doctors if needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of all residents. Support detoxification protocols as per physician guidance. Observe and report behavioral and physical changes in residents. Educate residents on hygiene, health practices, and self-care. Assist with counseling sessions related to health and recovery. Ensure infection control and cleanliness in the medical area. Participate in health camps and outreach programs when required. Qualifications & Requirements: Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized institution. Must be registered and approved by the Nursing Council of India (NCI). Experience (preferably in psychiatric care, rehabilitation centers, or de-addiction homes). Knowledge of handling withdrawal symptoms, psychiatric conditions, and emergency care.
