Position Overview: The Capital Market Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring smooth, accurate, and compliant trade operations within a financial institution and capital markets division. This role bridges trading desks, compliance, technology, and external market participants, ensuring timely trade settlement, regulatory adherence, and operational risk management. It is ideal for Chartered Accountants seeking to leverage their analytical, regulatory, and financial acumen in a dynamic capital market environment. Note: Candidates from Mathura, Agra, Bharatpur, Aligarh, Kosikalan will be preferred. Key Responsibilities: Market Knowledge & Research: Track market trends, economic developments, and regulatory updates impacting capital market operations. Conduct research on transaction flows, new products, and technology enhancements relevant to trading and settlement processes. Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between traders, portfolio managers, compliance, brokers, custodians, and exchanges. Provide timely updates on trade statuses, settlement timelines, and operational issues. Risk Management & Regulatory Compliance: Monitor compliance with SEBI, RBI, NSE, BSE, MCX, and other relevant regulatory frameworks. Identify and escalate policy breaches, unusual activities, or operational risks. Operational Management & Trade Lifecycle Support: Oversee trade lifecycle activities (trade capture, validation, matching, settlement)without execution responsibilities. Resolve trade breaks and coordinate with brokers, custodians, and clearinghouses to ensure timely settlement. Trade Reconciliation & Exception Management: Perform daily reconciliations between internal trading records and external counterparties. Investigate trade discrepancies and ensure prompt resolution with minimal market disruption. Regulatory Reporting & Exchange Communication: Prepare and submit mandatory operational and compliance reports to domestic and international exchanges. Ensure timely and accurate filings in line with regulatory and membership obligations. Engage with regulators and exchanges for clarifications, updates, and confirmations.
