Job Description: Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist Company: Karepoint Billing Service LLP Location: Kolkata (India) Salary: ₹3,00,000 - ₹6,00,000 per annum Experience: 3+ years in US medical billing (AR) About the Role Karepoint is seeking a skilled and dedicated Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our growing team. This is a crucial remote role focused on managing and resolving the denial backlog for our clients. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in AR follow-up and appeals and has a strong understanding of the US healthcare revenue cycle. Key Responsibilities Denial Management: Work an assigned backlog of denials, categorizing and resolving them through rebilling, appeals, or direct payer follow-up. Productivity: Meet and exceed daily targets of 50–70 denials worked per person. Documentation: Maintain and update a shared log with denial reasons, actions taken, and the current status of each claim. Payer Follow-up: Communicate with insurance payers to resolve complex claims and ensure timely payment. Compliance: Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and internal quality assurance standards. Communication: Participate in weekly team meetings to review backlog progress and discuss any challenges. What We're Looking For Proven experience in US medical billing, with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) and denial management. Familiarity with various practice management systems (PMS) is a plus. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
