Job Description: Murex Treasury Application Tester Experience: 3 - 4 years Location: Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata, India Company Name: Yethi Consulting Mandatory: Murex application testing experience We need Treasury tester with 3 to 4 years exp only (any application Kandor/Murex/Finacle /Flexcube) but Treasury testing is mandatory Note NP not more than 30 days About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Murex Application Treasury Tester to join our team in Kolkata . You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and stability of our Murex treasury platform. This role requires a strong understanding of Murex functionalities, testing methodologies, and financial markets. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with development and business teams to deliver high-quality software. Responsibilities: Understand business requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios and test cases. Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests for the Murex application. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools (e.g., Murex test framework, Selenium, etc.). Identify, analyze, and document defects in a clear and concise manner. Track and manage defects through the defect lifecycle. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure quality. Participate in test planning, test execution, and test reporting activities. Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies. Stay up-to-date with the latest Murex releases and functionalities. Perform data setup and validation for testing. Create and maintain test data. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. Work closely with the development team in an Agile environment. Adhere to company standards and best practices for testing. Required Skills and Experience: Mandatory: 3-4 years of experience in Murex application testing, specifically within a treasury environment. Strong understanding of Murex modules (e.g., Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk Management, Collateral Management). Specify the modules relevant to your needs. Experience in testing various Murex functionalities, including trade capture, pricing, risk calculations, reporting, and settlements. Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data validation and test data setup. Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM). Experience with defect tracking and reporting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with 1 Agile methodologies is preferred. Knowledge of financial markets and instruments (e.g., Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX) is a plus. Experience with test automation tools is a plus.
