As a NOC Manager specializing in VoIP and Networking, you will be responsible for leading and enhancing our Network Operations Center. Your expertise in VoIP, Asterisk, Linux, and Networking will be crucial in managing and maintaining SIP proxies, Asterisk-based systems, and troubleshooting complex issues in VoIP gateways and routing systems. You will ensure the optimal performance, availability, and security of Linux servers while handling Level 3 technical escalations for network and telephony incidents. Designing and managing robust monitoring and alerting systems for VoIP infrastructure, analyzing telephony traffic, and resolving NAT, PAT, and firewall issues will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be involved in developing automation tools/scripts, working with databases, and implementing new VoIP features and functionalities. Moreover, you will lead and mentor NOC engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain detailed documentation for VoIP and network systems. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in Asterisk, VoIP, and network management with proficiency in Linux systems, SIP, TCP/IP, and VoIP security. Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, Perl, and PHP, along with experience in Kamailio/OpenSIPS, VoIP gateways, and SBCs are required. Knowledge of firewall configurations, NAT/PAT traversal, security best practices, MySQL/MongoDB, and telephony billing systems is essential. Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and team leadership qualities are also important for this role.
